I'm Back
Man, it's been a busy week. A nice one, but really busy. Friday we stayed up talking with Paul's mom for quite a while. I loved it! Saturday was Madeline's birthday party. It was really nice. They let me take the pictures with their camera-and I was in heaven. It's an awesome camera and I love taking pictures anyway. I've heard they turned out pretty good-and the ones that I've seen are nice. I would love to do it for a living. And free for family-of course! It's something I'm working on right now. It was really good for me-I wouldn't have known what to do otherwise. I mean, everyone knows that I am socially awkward. And although I talk to people-it's not the most comfortable thing. So, it was nice to be able to be involved in a way that was so much fun! It also kept me from thinking too much on the fact that everyone had children or grandchildren there (except those that are unmarried). It makes me sad, because I would love to take pictures of my children. However, I know that God has a plan. And, I got to take the pictures without chasing my children around! So, it all works out.
Anyway, it was fun. On Sunday Scott and my Aunt Patty came over to my mom's and we had a barbeque. It was so much fun. We played croquet and rode around on my mom's scooter. I have to say that it was so much fun! It was nice.
On Monday, we took Robbie's car into the shop and went to the cheese factory-no cheese curds. We went back later on, but they were sold out of them then. It really stank, but hey-what can you do? No use crying over no cheese curds.
We played tennis with Robbie and Evangeline and had dinner at Big Boy. It was a really nice day. Oh! On Sunday evening Robbie, Paul and I walked to the Flat River Grill for coffee-we ended up having dinner. It was SO nice. A little pricey, but such an amazing atmosphere. We sat on the patio and watched the sun set over the river. It was so cool!
Anyway, we're back home. The 4th was uneventful. Paul worked and we played some tennis at Olivet. It was fun.
Other than that, we haven't really done much since we got back. We slept in this morning-which was so nice. This weekend was tiring-fun, but tiring. So, we're all caught up on sleep.
I get to make invitations for the Alethea Project. It's something that Robbie is doing-and it's awesome! Really, it is. It is so cool to have such awesome sibings. Robbie has such a passion that amazes me each and every day. I can't wait for her to be back for the year. I really do love having her around. She tries to include me in things-and it helps me a lot. She knows how hard it is for me to make friends and get involved. Seriously, would you want your sibling to share your friends? She is amazing. I love all of my siblings. They are all so wonderful.
Anyway, I'd best be going. Have a great day!
