Nothing Special

Nothing special going on with me today. I finished another book. Check out my review here.

We went for a walk last night when Paul got home. And after we had some oatmeal. We've walked in the neighborhood several times. This time we went down to Court St. (the main road through Kankakee) and looped around. We realized there is a tunnel that goes from our neighborhood-under the street-to the park on the other side. So cool. We are surrounded by parks. It's just neat that you can walk-without crossing the main street-to the park, river and Soldier Creek. So cool. It was a beautiful night for a walk.

The plan is to go to Perry Farm and walk tonight after dinner. They have a concert every Tuesday evening there, so we hope to take that in as well. That's out plan, as long as it doesn't rain. It's awful cloudy out right now. I hope it does rain. We need it badly. Our ground is all cracky and dry. And our grass is starting to look a little yellowy. So, we'll see. If it rains, I'll just do some exercises here. Maybe do some stair steps. We'll see.

The stinkin' squirrell is getting in our bird feeder again. Except now he's getting in the bird feeder. I mean, he lifts the top up and climbs in! Crazy. I have to constantly keep my eye on it or he'll eat all of the seed. The birds eat tons anyway.

Well, I have to go get some lunch. A turkey wrap, of course. Have a wonderful day/evening. Do something fun.
