Looking at Recipes

I've been looking at recipes today. I'm trying to find the ones that are able to fit into my diet nicely. If I can find them now, I will have many tasty dishes that will become a healthy normal part of life. So nice. I can't wait to try out some of these recipes. I'm not a big fan of cooking (and that is an understatement), but I love the cost-effectiveness and healthiness of it. I also love the taste of it. I'm a pretty basic girl when it comes to cooking, so we'll see how it goes.

Starting tomorrow, I am doing my own 21 Day Challenge. Rhonna does this on her blog and I really like the idea. You pick a habit you want to make or break and for 21 days practice or eliminate it. My first 21 Day Challenge is to have a consistent schedule and stick to it. My days tend to slip by rather quickly. I get caught up in things and before I know it, Paul's home. I just want to free myself and actually do something. I do well at getting up so far. I mean, I get up at about 7:30 almost every morning. 6:00 on Sundays and later on Mondays (when Paul has the morning off).

I am going to be getting up at 5:45am each morning (except Saturdays and Mondays). I'm going to go for my walk or do my workout at 6:30-after studying. We'll see how this goes, but I'm quite excited as it is. Getting up earlier is getting easier each time I do it.

Not much else going on here today. So far, we're unsure about our plans on Sunday. I would like to see my brother, but I don't think he's getting there until the evening. AND, we have to leave pretty early on Monday morning-Paul has to work. I don't know. If we're here, Paul's Aunt and Uncle are going to stop by and see the house. We just aren't sure if we're going to be here yet. So, it's a lot of crazyness and decisions right now!

I'm hoping that we can take the Metra into Chicago tomorrow. It's supposed to be a decent day. I just want to walk around and enjoy the city sights and sounds. It's cheap for us to ride the Metra on the weekends ($5 for unlimited rides on Saturday and Sunday), cheaper than driving to the El and taking that in. It's not worth the gas. We'll have to pack some snacks and lunches so that we're not tempted to buy unhealthy food for convienence sake. I don't know.

I have had some massive headaches the last two days, and today. It's not stormy, but it's overcast and the weather is just being weird. Weird pressure. So, my head kills. It doesn't help when it's humid and already hard to sleep!

I'll catch you all later! Adios!
