Moving

I'm moving! Well, not physically. My blog is moving to Typepad. Because it's a better site and I can do more with it. It also doen't go down as often. Anyway, this blog will still be here with all of the old posts, but new posts will be made on the new blog. If you have any questions please let me know. The Contemplativity site will eventually move as well, but for now it's staying where it is.

Here's the link to the new site: Complicated Simplicity

I hope you like it!!!

Da Bears

There was a warning. "It's addictive" it said. I had no idea just how much. Not the football team. Real bears. Grizzlies. I love to watch them. And the sunrise is just so gorgeous this morning on McNiel River Falls in Alaska. It's a quarter to eight there and there are two bears trying to get some breakfast. Three more just crossed the river further up. Real grizzlies. Live in action.

National Geographic has a camera in Alaska where the bears go to get some fish to eat. You can watch live, anytime. Last night, there were like twenty bears around there. Just resting, fishing and one that just kept swimming around further down the river. Bears rock! I love watching them. They are my second favorite animal after all!

If you want to watch my bears here's the link: Grizzlys But be warned, it's highly addictive!

Not much else going on around here. Really, nothing. It's supposed to get hot again, but I'm praying that the weather report is wrong. Very wrong. I have been so loving the cooler weather we're having!

Anywho, I'll go. Check out the bears. Really, they're fascinating. A few more are fishing now as well. I warn you though-in the middle of the day they don't really fish much. So check them out in the morning and evening!!

Our Saturday!

We went to Chicago on Saturday. It was such a beautiful day. Clear skies and beautiful temperatures. Navy Pier was packed, but it was so nice to be in the city. We saw Seussical the Musical which was really cute. Excellent music and a wonderful set. It was neat. Mazie the Bird tried to pick up Paul! He turned red-it was so funny! We also saw the big protest going on as well. They were protesting Israel's attack on Palestine, so that was interesting to see too.

On the way home, we got in an accident. A truck pulled across the intersection right in front of us. (They had a stop sign, we didn't have any.) The truck was completely undamaged, but you can see what happened to our car below. No one was hurt, so we were really thankful for that. It runs, but I guess it was acting up for Paul today. Hopefully it can be fixed pretty quickly. And that was our Saturday. My family was here again, which was nice.

At the scene of the accident.

The damage is all on this side. The only problem with the other side of the hood is that it got pushed over a little bit.

The headlight.

This is how far the passenger door will open.
